An Alzheimer's Patient BF

I took this picture on a day when my mother, who has Alzheimer's, was having a rough day.

Beau Teal stood next to her bed barking until I relented and put him on the bed. He immediately went and laid down next to her and would not leave for the remainder of the day. Once and awhile my mother would reach over and pet him and he would lick her hand.

By the end of the day, she was feeling much better. I think her dog had something to do with it.

Meet The Dog!!!

This is Beau Teal. He is over 13 years old but acts and looks like he is 9 years old.

He is one of those dogs God blessed with common sense because he basically trained himself and let me know later that he was trained. For example, he gives me a look that says "Let me outside or I will do it inside." I don't know how to house train a dog.
